Noosa

We are back from our Noosa camp. We could not of hoped for a better start. A huge thank you to all the parents and children from us. We could not have done it without each and everyone of you. Thankyou all for touching our hearts and being such a blessing to our children.

The camp was an incredible experience. Don't take my word for it, read some of our comments. Also check out some of our photos from the camp.

Apart from meeting so many incredible parents, we were stunned and amazed by our ASD children. The terms 'anti-social' and 'crowd' meant very little on the weekend. The children all played together and enjoyed each others company without any problems. We did not see a meltdown, overanxious or overstressed child all weekend. What a blessing it was. The only time we started to see upset children was when it came time to leave. An amazing sight! All these ASD children spending time outdoors, enjoying themselves without the normal concerns and fears ASD children usually have.

Hats off to the parents. We learnt so much ourselves from a bunch of wonderful people. What a success. The only sad note is, the families want to do it again in six months but unfortunately we are committed to our North Queensland camp.
