Methods of Support

There are several ways you can support Camp Autism Inc:

- Visit our appeal site at appeal.

- Prayer (always needed).

- Spread the word about Camp Autism.

- Goods in Kind (If you are a business perhaps you could offer one of our camps some services in kind).

- Sponsor a family to attend the camp (even partial support would help a family out in a huge way).

- Sponsor a camp.

- Sponsor us to create more camps across Australia.

- 100% of gifts for specific camps or families will go to that camp or family.

- Buy now, Aspergers: Friend and Foe. This soon to be released new book is predominately a book about living with Asperger's syndrome. It is now available More Info. If you are interested in matters of faith, then purchase a copy of Aspergers, God and Me: Living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder from here.

Please note, Camp Autism has DGR status, which means most monetary donations are tax deductable.

We are a small organisation with no overheads, so 100% of all donations received goes into the camps rather than paying for administration costs. If you or someone you know may be able to help with specific needs, please contact us so we can discuss our plans in more detail.

Volunteer for Camp Autism Inc

There are many ways in which members of the general community can assist with Camp Autism. We are always on the lookout for motivated volunteers who can help us with catering, organisational and general operational requirements during our events as well as promotion, fundraising activities.

We are particularly keen to hear from people with special skills relevent to our work, including counsellors, teachers and NLP practitioners, naturopaths and health professionals, musicians and music therapists, artists, sports personalities and entertainers. If you are a local business operator who can provide equipment for the kids' use at camp (eg. sporting equipment, art/craft supplies, jumping castles, catering) we would also be grateful for any contribution you can make.

Camp Autism Inc is a relatively new project for us, so even if you are unable to offer your own time to our cause, you may have an idea we have not thought of. If you have any suggestions which might enhance the experience for the ASD kids, their siblings, or parents participating in our camps please share your thoughts with us. The power of many minds is greater than the sum of its parts.
