Please note, for our Atherton event. This is an open event for families dealing with Autism, those who are local families are welcome to attend the venue. Families from the surrounding region are encouraged to attend the camp for a day trip or come along for the weekend.
Accommodation Information
We have been able to secure discounted accommodation prices per night.
Ensuite Cabins are $100-$120 a night for two adults and children stay free.
Itinerary
Friday 4PM - Meet and greet at the BBQ area nearest the pool.
Saturday 10AM - Lawn games such as cricket and totem tennis.
Saturday 1PM - Swimming pool games and activities.
Saturday 3PM - Treasure Hunt in the BBQ area.
Saturday 5PM - Family BBQ supplied by Camp Autism in the BBQ area (BYO drinks). A family of Bush Wallabies often drop by for a visit around this time which the children should love.
Sunday 9AM - Autism and Faith discussion in the BBQ area OR swimming pool time.
Sunday 10AM - Arts and crafts in the BBQ area
Sunday 1PM - Farewell plus more pool games and activities for those staying on.
Since we have two children with ASD we understand it is nearly impossible to attend set events at set times. None of the activities are considered compulsory. Participation is entirely up to you and your family. In saying that, we would like all to attend the Saturday night BBQ so we can make sure we have met everyone.
